Leaving yesterday behind
Good bye so long
All those question marks
answered with silence
a number answered
so much scar tissue
hard as a diomand
long past time
let lying dogs lie
not worth stringing up
clear water
just to look through
murky again
the game ended
outcome so different
then all those plans
all along
where were you
now your gone too

The Judas tree
The scent of the Judas tree
Hangs in the air
Lingering like a fresh memory
Laughter and ridicule
Worms need to eat too
Tormented by the inner deceit
A puppet in a game
The pawn to be sacrificed
Rules changed as the play lives on
Living in conjecture and derision
Covering the truth in deviation
Manipulation by fate
The clock reads not quite enough
Thee tree's shadow reaches
Elongated and pointing
Through history weaving a tale
Live long
A ghost of your deceit ferments
Intoxicating some
Haunting the tormented
Rationalization a shield that weathers
The tortured souls wonders lost
Read between the lines
The taste bitter
No matter how sweet the wine
Hangs in the air
Lingering like a fresh memory
Laughter and ridicule
Worms need to eat too
Tormented by the inner deceit
A puppet in a game
The pawn to be sacrificed
Rules changed as the play lives on
Living in conjecture and derision

Maintaining illusions
Wake me up
when his dream ends
Stuck in this dark place
Faceless stares in the dark
Shadows in the silence
Day time nightmare
The folding in
Swallowing everything
Without mercy or consciousness
Taking souls and throwing life's away
Leaving an empty void
The sadness overwhelms
Wake me up
From the darkness
Say my name
So I know it is real
Let me feel what is real
Let the faceless stares fade
Let this dream end
when his dream ends
Stuck in this dark place
Faceless stares in the dark
Shadows in the silence
Day time nightmare
The folding in
Swallowing everything
Without mercy or consciousness
Taking souls and throwing life's away
Leaving an empty void
The sadness overwhelms
Wake me up
From the darkness
Say my name
So I know it is real
Let me feel what is real
Let the faceless stares fade
Let this dream end

Fair
Fair Indifferent
Nature is fair
were it is redundant
Eat or be eaten
Responsive to relevance
Living the way it was
Tainting what will be
Redefining perfection
Memory that maybe
Correcting mistakes
Fair indifference
Because no one cares
Fair is redundant
Tainting what could be
Tainting what should be
Defining perfection
Correcting mistakes

Shadows sways in the wind
The noose tightens
Oxygen restricted
The last sunset takes hold
A rain over cast day
Some how poetic irony
Broken heart
Broken dreams
Broken lullaby
The cowboy know
Reality has a harsh humour
Even in the last second
Hope lingers like dew
Moist on the morning
Laughter and tears
Smiles and regard
There should be more
Hanging in air
Inches above the ground
Lost between here and there
There is a voice
Telling a stories
I am sorry
For this and that
But mostly for not being more
The noose is cut
The man is lowered
Waiting to be taken home
Answers that never mattered
Questions with little empathy
Broken heart
I am sorry
Broken dreams
For this and that
Broken lullabies
Not being more
The sun sets
Just another ordinary day
Cloudy with intermittent showers
Poetic justification looms
There is silence
Oxygen restricted
The last sunset takes hold
A rain over cast day
Some how poetic irony
Broken heart
Broken dreams
Broken lullaby
The cowboy know
Reality has a harsh humour
Even in the last second

Watching the stars cry
Two minutes to silence
Two minutes to sleep
Five minutes before the end
A single kiss that changed the world
Nothing will be the same again
Tired of this game
Thought about it for a long time
Waiting for it
Fifteen days pass time
Watching the sun rise
One last time
Two minutes to silence
Two minutes to sleep
Five minutes before the end
A single kiss that changed my mind
Nothing will be he same again
Tired of waiting
Life has moved on
Miss you like tomorrow
Miss what you were
I am so sorry
Watching the sun sun set
One last time
Two minutes to silence
Two minutes to sleep
Five minutes before the end
A single kiss that changed it all
Watching the stars cry
August is not the same
Cypress in two time zones
Been back only once
Missing who you could have been
Racing through life
In the fast lane
Racing to get back to you
Only for the sudden stop
Two minutes to silence
Two minutes to sleep
Five minutes before the end
Watching the stars cry
As the darkness slowly turns to red
Twisting in the wind
The wind kisses my face
Tears dry on my face
Salty I am sure
The breeze carries the sound of waves
August is never the same
Two minutes to sleep
Two minutes to silence
Two minutes to sleep
Five minutes before the end
A single kiss that changed the world
Nothing will be the same again
Tired of this game

Life gets in the way
We make plans
We are alive
We all have dreams
Life gets in the way
We make plans
We are alive
we all have dreams
We are not meant to be alone
Damaged hearts can be mended
A fly walks on the screen
Distracting from the dialog
Hope you find happiness
Sweet dreams
Damaged hearts can be mended
No matter how damaged
Some words hurt
Not the words so much as truth they hold
We all have plans in this life
But sometimes stuff gets in the way
Dreams are a reminder of broken promises
We weren't meant to be alone
Watching the suffering
Prolonging the enviable
Moments that make the pain bearable
Hanging on to each
Trying to make them last
