How much ache can one heart take?
Before it breaks leaving an empty shell
A shell never to be lived in
Shattered and numb
A place in a grey dream
Covered in cement
Incased in sand and stone
A sapling that can grow through walls
Branching and grasping for life in murkiness
Hope grasping for air
Like a fish on a floor of boat
Sun tanning in despair
Desperation is a wonder
Agony before each step
Never looking back
Some places are not worth the trip
